A PENSIONER has been charged with drink driving following a crash.
The collision happened on Friday morning between a silver Volvo s40 and a Peugeot panel van in East Hanningfield Road, Rettendon.
The van driver sustained neck and spinal injuries and was taken to Broomfield Hospital.
The car driver, 67 and from Chelmsford, has been charged with drink driving and driving without insurance.
He has been bailed to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on March 18.
