A MAN has suffered severe facial injuries after being battered by two thugs in broad daylight.
The 31-year-old local man was attacked in East Street, Southend, after the two men approached him just after 11.30am yesterday.
The victim was taken to Southend Hospital where he is in a stable condition after getting severe face and hand injuries.
Essex Police are looking to identify and find the two men.
