At your service - chief fire officer, David Johnson, with deputy mayor Ann Holland
OFFICERS from Essex Fire and Rescue Service are providing an escort for Southend’s deputy mayor, Ann Holland, and will continue when she takes over the top job as mayor next year.
Mrs Holland’s official escort will be the chief fire officer of Essex, David Johnson, but his deputy and other senior officers will stand in if he is not available.
Mrs Holland said: “I am pleased and delighted the fire service have accepted this invitation.
“I have been a member of the Essex Fire Authority since it was founded and the vice chairman since 2000.”
