A SERIOUS accident left a major road closed in both directions during the height of rush hour.
The A132 in South Woodham Ferrers was closed between the Rettendon Turnpike and the Shaw Farm Roundabout.
Firefighters had to cut a man free from his vehicle following the two car crash at 4.45pm tonight (Friday).
