STUDENTS at South East Essex College have launched their latest clothing lines on the catwalk.
The annual fashion show has taken place as part of the college’s summer festival, this year called Southend Festival Seven.
Several students showcased their designs during the event, but one of the more unusually inspired lines came from 17-year-old Lilly Tyrell, from Hockley.
College spokesman Dean Newman said: “Lilly based her catwalk design on the work of Dr Seuss after watching a film starring Mike Myers.”
Lilly said: “I’ve always been a fan of Dr Seuss and have all his books from when I was little, so going back to those books and researching them was really fun.
“I thought it would be fun and bring a smile to people’s faces to see the world created by Seuss given a fashion twist.”
