A MAN had to be given oxygen after tackling a fire at Thorney Bay caravan park.
The 47-year-old security guard put out a cooker fire in a caravan at the Canvey site, at 5.30pm on Tuesday.
He was called by the occupant of the caravan, who was cooking dinner when the fire broke out.
After dousing the flames, he called the fire service.
