A MOUNTAIN of cash needed to replace a Southend school’s two minibuses looks set to get £2,500 taller, thanks to a fete which offered this climbing wall as an attraction Southend High School for Boys’ annual fete also offered five-a-side football, a dog display and live music.
School spokesman Ann Thorp said: “It was a great day and we’re still counting the money. We hope to reach £2,500. It’ll be added to the money we need to replace out minibuses, which are in constant use.”
