Eversley Leisure Centre, in Pitsea, helps launch the summer events brochure
FRAZZLED parents looking to entertain kids over the summer holidays have been given a hand by Basildon Council.
The council has organised a number of fun-filled events across the district and listed them in an easy-to-use booklet.
The authority is putting on a host of sports for kids to enjoy, including basketball, badminton and football coaching, trampolining and dodgeball. Every session is supervised by qualified staff.
All the activities are listed in the council’s 2009 Summer Holiday Activities brochure.
The brochure is available from libraries, council offices, leisure centres, the Towngate Theatre in Basildon and the website www.basildon.gov.uk
