PARAMEDICS attending emergency calls reported 95 assaults by members of the public last year.
The East of England Ambulance Service described the figures as 'completely unacceptable'.
It is up from the previous year when there were 84 assaults reported.
Twenty-four of the assaults happened in Essex during 2008-09.
