A LANDMARK Southend nightclub has changed hands.
Talk nightclub, formerly known as Tots, in Lucy Road, is now under a new owner and management.
It is the second time the club has changed owners in its 37-year history. Roy Gray has bought the club from John Remblance, whose company JBR Leisure hit financial difficulties in recent months.
The new owner already has a successful nightclub in Colchester, called Route, which he has been running for the past ten years.
Mr Gray said: “Talk is a famous landmark and has a solid history for a great night out, and the intention is to build on that using our contacts with the local community, who have given support over the past 37 years.
“All are welcome to come and meet the new team and see the changes we have made virtually overnight.”
