BUDDING animaters are hoping to build a successful career after being commissioned to make a film entirely from Lego.
Students from South East Essex College, were given funding by the British Council to make a short film to provide an amusing and informative introduction to funding schemes available for young people.
They are looking for people to donate Lego or similar style blocks to help them produce the film which they aim to shoot in January.
Cresta Ward, a former animation student from the college and part of the Analogue Men group, said: “We’ve started to get some donations. I’ve got someone looking round charity shops for Lego, and other look-alike systems, and two friends who are willing to donate, but we will need more.”
The group is supported by the Focal Point Gallery in Victoria Avenue, Southend.
If you have Lego to donate or lend contact Fran Wilde at Focal Point Gallery on 01702 534108 or focalpointgallery@southend.gov.uk
