COMMUNITY healthcare services are being disrupted by the snow.

The drop in baby clinic, which is held regularly at the Queens Park doctor’s surgery, in Billericay, was cancelled today, Thursday.

NHS South West Essex warned a range of other community healthcare services could be disrupted in the coming days, including health visitors to patients’ homes, children’s and older people’s nursing services, dietetic and nutrition services, therapy services, sexual health and community dentistry.

They advised patients to phone the relevant service beforehand, to check whether sessions they are booked in for are still going ahead.
