POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward to two assaults outside a Basildon nightclub.
A 39-year-old man, from Westcliff, was struck in the face while at Liquid nightclub, at Festival Leisure Park, Basildon, between 11.45pm on Thursday, January 7 and 12.50am on Friday, January 8.
This caused a fractured right cheek and swelling to his eye.
A 37 year-old woman was assaulted outside the same nightclub at 1.30am, on January 8.
A 28-year-old man, from Margate, Kent, has been charged with ABH against the woman, who received facial injuries.
He has been released on police bail to appear at Basildon Magistrates Court, on Thursday, January 28.
