A DEVELOPER has appealed against Basildon Council’s refusal of plans to build ten new homes near Noak Bridge.
Reliant Building Contractors bought a site off Eastfield Road, Basildon, from regeneration agency English Partnerships in December 2006.
However the council refused permission for its planned estate, arguing it would be out of character, dominate nearby homes and increase traffic.
Reliant has now appealed to the Planning Inspectorate and the matter will be aired at a public inquiry on a date yet to be set.
