LESSONS on economical driving techniques will take place outside the Odeon Cinema in Southend High Street on February 24 and 25 between 9am and 3.30pm.
Southend Council offering free smarter driving lessons to local businesses. Pre-booked lessons are available to sixteen business representatives who will be shown techniques to cut fuel costs by 15 per cent.
The incentive has been organised in conjunction with the Energy Saving Trust and is backed by the Organisation for Responsible Businesses.
The driver with the best miles per gallon achieved will win a further eight smarter driving lessons for their colleagues.
