SOUTHEND lifeboat rescued a motorboat which ran aground at the Maplin Sands.
The 23 ft boat became stuck this morning at about 8am, but both passengers were unhurt.
The vessel, named Robinson, was recovered by the RNLI Atlantic 75 lifeboat, which towed it into the river Crouch.
From there Burnham lifeboat took over and towed it safely into Burnham Yacht Harbor.
