LOUTS threw a bottle at a bus as it travelled through Eastwood.
They hurled the bottle at the number nine bus as it travelled along Rayleigh Road, near to The Bellhouse pub, filled with passengers. Luckily no one was injured but the damage is estimated at between £250 and £500.
The bus continued on its route towards Rayleigh before returning to the depot.
Both suspects are described as being white boys and around 17 years old. One had fair hair and the other had dark hair.
Pc Louise Wilson said: “It was fortunate that no-one was injured, this was a dangerous act that could have had more serious consequences. I’d appeal for anyone who was on the bus or passing by at the time of the incident to please come forward with any information they may have.”
