A MUM-of-four says she will fight bailiffs that want to evict her.

Natasha Anderson, 32, and her sons Lenny, five, Reggie, six, Charlie, nine, and Alfie, 11, have been told to leave their five-bedroom detached house in Hannah Close, Canvey, by 1pm today.

Bailiffs first turned up at the house at 11am yesterday, but they aborted the eviction after a two-hour stand-off and gave the family an extenson until 1pm today.

Landlord Christopher Brennan has brought in Griffin Property Services, based on Canvey, to oversee the eviction process.

Nick Neale, from Griffin, insisted there will be no further extensions, as Ms Anderson owes £11,000 in rent and has been given ample warning.

She was first given notice about the eviction on May 26.

He said: “We agreed, under the circumstances, that we would go back there tomorrow and she would move out overnight.

“The bailiffs can go into the house and arrest her.

“She will end up with a criminal conviction, as well as a civil one.

“All she is going to do is end up getting arrested.

“She has had ample opportunity to stand in front of a court, but she hasn’t turned up.”

He added Ms Anderson failed to turn up to the eviction hearing at Southend County Court on Friday and Griffin Property Services then applied for a bailiff.

Ms Anderson claims she did not know anything about the hearing.

She said: “I am not going, I am not coming out of here.

“The bailiff told me to get out or he’ll smash my door down.

“I have got no family. I have got nobody. I’m in pieces.”
