A YOUNG man was punched in the face as he walked along Southend High Street.
The 22-year-old was attacked by two men at about 7.45pm on Monday.
He was left with a bruised face but did not need hospital treatment.
One of the suspects was wearing a white hoodie and the other wore a blue hoodie but no further descriptions are available.
Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to contact PC Marc Shaddock at Southend police station on 0300 3334444.
