FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a High Street blaze which has seen a shop gutted and its roof collapse.
Ten fire crews have been in Bilericay High Street since about 5am, today, after a fire at the Oxfam shop, which spread to three other buildings.
The High Street is closed between Norsey Road and London Road.
The fire appears to have started in the ground floor of the shop and spread to the first floor.
At about 6.40am the fire spread to a second shop and two neighbouring properties.
