A MAN was rushed to hospital after his car crashed into a lamppost outside a college.
A grey Toyota Carina flipped onto its roof after smashing into a lamppost at a crossing outside Futures college on Southchurch Boulevard, Southend at 5pm this evening (Friday).
Police officers and ambulance crews were on the scene in minutes to get the driver, a man, out of the car.
Police closed the road while they cleared the car from the road.
