Appeal after man stabbed three times
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed three times near a nightclub.
A 25-year-old man from Grays was stabbed three times in the torso after he and his friends are thought to have been involved in a row with a group of other men on a forecourt between the Circus Tavern nightclub and a nearby petrol station.
The incident happened at 4am today at Meads Corner, Arterial Road, Purfleet.
The man is said to be serious but stable.
