ESSEX firefighters are due home on Tuesday after helping with the clear up after the Christchurch earthquake in New Zealand.
Six firefighters from Essex have worked as part of the UK's International Search and Rescue team sent to help following the disaster.
Station Officer Terry Jewell, who is based at the fire service’s Urban Search and Rescue facility near Colchester, said the firefighters are fit and well.
