THE OWNER of a former puppy sales business is facing court amid allegations two animals she sold died soon after.
Loretta Bastin, 59, of Dobe Farm, Meadow Lane, Wickford, ran Runwell Kennels from her home until January when she did not apply to renew her pet shop licence.
Chelmsford Council has summonsed her to court to face an alleged breach of the licence in connection with the sale of the puppies on November 18 last year.
