Police have charged a 16-year-old boy after a girl was raped in Sweyne Park. The victim, who police say is aged between 13 and 15, was attacked on the afternoon of Thursday, June 30. The alleged attacker has been remanded n custody to appear at Southend Youth Court on Tuesday, July 5.
