A DEAD puppy was pulled from a lake by shocked fisherman.
The Lurcher was hauled out of the lake at Lake Meadows park in Billericay.
It is not clear whether the dog was dead before it was dumped in the water, or whether it drowned.
Basildon Council have now launched a probe.
