EXPERTS from the United Nations have called upon the Government to step in over the eviction of Dale Farm.
Raquel Rolnik and Rita Izak have said the eviction of 200 people from the site could breach human right laws if alternative accommodation is not found for those being told to leave by Basildon Council.
They have written to the Department of Communities and Local Government asking for the matter to be halted so negotiations can be held with travellers about new accommodation.
