ESSEX police officers were called in to help their colleagues in London deal with rioters.
Chaos broke out in the streets of Tottenham, on Saturday night until the early hours of Sunday morning, after a protest over the fatal shooting of suspected gangster Mark Duggan by Metropolitan Police officers on Thursday.
A total of 25 officers from Essex where called upon at 3am yesterday to assist with those still rioting and it has been confirmed they will go back if required.
