LONDON Southend Airport has announced easyJet is to fly to Jersey from next year.
The airline, which will start flights to Amsterdam, Alicante, Barcelona, Belfast, Faro, Ibiza, Malaga and Mallorca from April, announced the new route to the most southerly Channel Island will take off on May 2, with seats going on sale from Thursday, September 22.
Flights will operate four times a week, with fares staring from £21.99 one way.
The announcement came as the airline confirmed sales from the airport are outperforming other London Airports by up to three per cent.
