A MAN was grabbed by the neck during a terrifying robbery in an alleyway.
The victim was walking home from work through the alleyway between Short Street and Vale Avenue, Southend, when he got attacked.
He was pulled to the ground and punched several times as the robber demanded he hand over everything he had. The crook off with a stolen Blackberry Bold 9780 phone, a navy Dunlop bag containing various items including the victim’s black Nike trainers at about 6.10pm on Sunday March 18.
The victim suffered cuts and bruises.
