Police appeal after car crash

POLICE are appealing for information after a car collided into a house and parked car.

The driver lost control of a VW Golf in Bircham Road,Southend, and fled the scene. The parked car was written off by insurers.

Anyone about the incident at 3.45pm on March 1 should call PC Ian Risden at Southend on 101.

surely this should be 'crashed into.....' as a collision is defined as 'an impact between two or more moving bodies.'
