SOUTHEND seafront basked in the hot sunshine as thousands of people watched the airshow, running on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Stalls and traders were kept busy as the crowds packed the seafront.
Hundreds also gathered dressed in Eighties gear to take part in a world record attempt by Little Havens Hospice.
The ground events also kept people busy in the lovely sunshine before the flights started.
Angela Roberts, 55, from Rochford, said: "We come every year and it's lovely. it's one of the best years with lovely weather and it's always a great show."
