ALL lanes have fully reopened on the A13 Londonbound carriageway near Stanford-le-Hope following an earlier accident.
The crash, which involved a car and a motorbike, took place at around 8am at the Stanford-le-Hope turning.
A man, thought to be in his 40s, was taken to hospital, but his injuries didn't appear to be too serious.
The road has now fully reopened and delays have subsided.
An ambulance spokesman said: "We were called at 8.10am today to a traffic incident involving a car and a motorbike on the Stanford-Le-Hope bypass. We sent one ambulance the west-bound stretch of the road around half a mile before the Stanford turnoff.
"A man, though to be in his late forties, was treated at the scene. The patient's injuries do not appear to be too serious but he was taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further care."
