Echo: Suspected stolen goods recovered Suspected stolen goods recovered

POLICE want to hear from anyone who recognises items found in the car of a suspected burglar.

Four watches, two medals and two coins were among items officers found in the car of a 44-year-old man arrested on suspicion of a burglary in Benfleet.

DC Kirsty Morgan said: "These items are not connected to the burglary we were investigating at the time but we suspect that they may have been taken from other homes in Essex.”

The man was arrested in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, where he is from, on January 17 on suspicion of breaking into a house in Grandview Road, Benfleet, two days earlier.

Police believe the items, uncovered in a search of his car, may be stolen property.

Police released the information and images this afternoon, Sunday, January 27.

Occasionally in Ulster both republican & loyalist groups have been known to knee cap or actually abduct & crucify joyriders & burgers for crimes against the community. This works well as both a punishment & deterrent to other criminals.
