Spate of thefts from cars in Hadleigh

A SPATE of thefts from car has hit Castle Point - with nine reports in one night.

Police are now warning motorists to be careful to lock their cars and remove all belongings from inside.

It comes after cars in the Daws Heath area of Hadleigh were targeted on Monday night for sat-navs, stereo speakers, compact disks, even a baby’s pushchair.

Police are now conducting hi-visibility patrols, stop-checks and covert surveillance.
