SIX hundred jobs are to go at Eon call centre in Rayleigh.
The energy firm has confirmed, on the last day of its three month consultation with staff, that the centre in London Road will shut on June 25.
The news will come as a massive blow to the hundreds of staff who must now try to find alternative employment.
