A CRASH between a lorry and a car has blocked a rural lane.
Fire crews attended the scene of the smash, which happened in Watery Lane, Hullbridge, shortly before 10.25am today.
They used specialist cutting equipment to free the woman before she was taken to Basildon hospital for treatment after complaining of neck and back pain.
The road remains closed while police await a recovery vehicle to remove the car and van.
