POLICE have released an E-fit of a sex attacker who struck in Southend.
He is believed to have assaulted a woman at a grassy area near Clifton Terrace, Sourthend at around 12.30am on October 10, 2012.
The victim, aged in her 20s and from Southend, had been in The Last Post pub in Weston Road, Southend, and left at closing time.
She walked with the suspect and was then assaulted near Clifton Terrace.
The man is described as white with mousey brown hair and is aged somewhere between 21 and 40-years-old. He is 5ft 8ins to 6ft tall, of stocky build and has a pierced right ear.
Detectives believe he may frequent the local homeless shelters.
At the time of the incident he wore a pink McKenzie polo shirt with 1974 printed on it, light coloured chino trousers, white trainers and was carrying a JD Sports bag with a Union Jack design. He carried this on his left side.
