PAT Sharp brings his disco door keys to Storm tonight, opening up a Fun House of entertainment.

The 47-year-old DJ, best known for presenting a host of Nineties kids’ TV shows, is fronting Irresistible at the Lucy Road club, getting behind the decks to play the best party tunes, plus maybe a little something extra.

“Everybody knows who Pat is – he was a real legend for kids growing up in the Nineties,” says Storm’s promotions manager, Diason Paye.

“Fun House was the top TV show of its era and we are hoping to get Pat up on stage with a mic to direct a Storm take on it all tonight.

“We might even get a few of those mobility scooter things into the club, which all the kids would zoom around on to complete the tasks set by Pat on the show. It’s going to be unpredictable and fun, for sure!”

As well as fronting TV shows, Pat has worked regularly as a radio DJ, spending more than ten years with Capital FM, and is currently working for Heart 103 and the One Network.

His trademark highlighted shoulder-length mullet, which, disappointingly has fallen victim to the barber’s chair, won him the Worst Haircut of the Year Award at the 1987 Smash Hits Poll Winners’ Party.

At the peak of his TV fame, Pat was believed to be washing his hair up to six times a day, using only a blend of Timotei shampoo, mineral water, egg yolk – and cats’ milk.

He has also been an ardent supporter of charities during his career. Pat scored seven hit singles as one half of the notorious Stock, Aitken and Waterman pop duo Pat and Mick, most memorably with the song I Haven’t Stopped Dancing Yet.

The royalties from their record sales were donated to Capital FM’s Help a London Child charity, raising more than £1million.

Admission to Storm is £5, with the club open until 3am. For more information, call 01702 333277
