Planning permission granted for £40m museum in Southend
Councillors in Southend have granted planning permission for a £40million museum project earmarked for the town's seafront.
Members of the Development Control committee voted in favour of 20,000sq ft museum which could be built into the cliffs above Western Esplanade before 2020.
