A TEENAGER has been charged with dangerous driving in connection with an incident at about 3.20pm yesterday.
The 17-year-old man, from Shoebury , was arrested alongside an 18-year-old man, also from Shoebury.
A police officer was knocked over after trying to flag down a motorcycle ridden by two men without helmets.
The 17-year-old has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving other than in accordance with a licence.
The 18-year-old has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking.
Both men have been bailed to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on September 10.
