Out of bounds on golf course (From Echo)

A lady recently complained on the letters page about the “grumpy green keepers” on Castle Point Golf Course, on Canvey .

She first complained they were telling her to get off the greens and that they pointed out the location of various footpaths.

The grumpy green keepers were simply doing their jobs and helping to keep her safe into the bargain.

If, as she says, she was almost hit by a golf ball, she was obviously somewhere she shouldn’t have been.
