I THINK tomorrow's game at Fleetwood Town is a very dangerous one from our perspective.

They're having a good season after winning the Conference last year and they're up in the play-off places at this moment in time.

But they've got rid of their manager this week and this will be their first game since he went.

I think that makes it an even tougher challenge for us and we will really need to go there, roll our sleeves up and get stuck in.

That's something we've done regularly away from home for a little while now and we want to keep our excellent form on the road going.

It will be another real test though as Fleetwood have some excellent players, including Barry Ferguson who has played in both the English and Scottish Premier League.

The boy Howell is a good player too and had success with Crawley Town and, in attack, David Ball has been scoring a few goals for them.

We're therefore fully aware of the size of the task facing us, providing the game goes ahead.

That's very much in the lap of the gods and the cold weather has made it hard for us to train this week.

We've had to do one or two things differently and it's been a bit disjointed but hopefully we will still be able to get our rhythm back.

For, even though we got good results in the cup competitions against Bury and Brentford in our last two games, I didn't think we were at our best.

I think that was partly down to having to chop and change the team and we will have to do the same tomorrow as Michael Timlin is suspended.

Him being out is a big blow because he's been a very influential player for us in the last eight or nine games but the matches are coming thick and fast right now so he's not going to be out for long.

I'm also hopeful he'll be the only one missing on Saturday as, fingers crossed, Gavin Tomlin and Mark Phillips will both be passed fit.

Marc Laird comes back in which is a big boost and, just like Britt Assombalonga and Tamika Mkandawire, he's now in the last month of his loan spell with us.

All three of those players have been fantastic during their time here and they're enjoying it too so we're hopeful of keeping them all for longer.

We've been in regular dialogue with the players, their agents and clubs and hope things can get sorted.

But it's impossible at this stage to know exactly what is going to happen.
