BLUES boss Phil Brown will be hoping for a case of third time lucky when his side travel to Dagenham & Redbridge tonight.

Daggers have already beaten the Shrimpers twice this season at Roots Hall both in the league and the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

And Brown is therefore keen to come out on top this evening as Blues begin an important week.

“We’ve been beaten twice by Dagenham so that shows how hard this game is but the next few days are very important indeed,” said Brown.

“There’s a slight gap opening now from seventh downwards and if we can win these two games we have coming up then we can go even further clear of the teams below us.”

Blues are again expected to be without right-backs Luke O’Neill (thigh) and John White (shoulder) while Brown is also considering freshening up his side for the game in midfield and attack.
