GREAT Wakering Rovers will be starting this season in a new league and with a new look.
Rovers have signed a new deal with sponsors Joma UK and SX Sports and will don their new kit for their debut season in the Ryman North Division next month.
They keep their traditional green and white stripes for matches at Burroughs Park and will wear yellow tops with black shorts when they are on the road.
The goalkeeper’s strip with be light blue with navy trim.
Lewis Sparrow, Max Kent and Adam Seal modelled the new colours with chairman Roy Kettridge, commercial manager Steve Walters and SX Sports representatives Steve Gray and Ron Wallace.
Rovers are warming up for the new season with a number of preseason friendlies – most recently against Essex Senior League side Bowers & Pitsea.
The two sides played out a 5-5 draw on Tuesday.
Rovers’ next match will be against Sawbridgeworth Town on Saturday.
