SOUTHEND United have received a further 600 tickets for Saturday’s huge match at Morecambe.
Blues received an initial allocation of 1,800 tickets for the game which could see the Shrimpers secure promotion if they win.
But the new batch of tickets will allow the possibility of 2,400 travelling fans to watch the game at the Globe Arena.
And Southend’s chief executive Steve Kavanagh was keen to thank Morecambe for their co-operation.
“It’s fantastic news that we’ve been able to secure these extra tickets and I would like to thank Morecambe for allowing this to happen,” said Kavanagh.
“It’s a great thing for their directors and fans to have agreed to and we’re thankful because it allows even more of our supporters to watch what is such a big game for us.”
