TEAM Sure Grip will be taking on the rest of Europe in the latest AWOL fight night at Talk nightclub tomorrow.

Organiser Dan Burzotta has put together a series of scraps which sees fighters from his Westcliff TSG base taking on a number of foreign opponents.

And Burzotta is promising another explosive evening.

“It’s TSG against the rest of the Europe and I’m sure there are going to be fireworks,” said Burzotta.

“We’ve flown fighters over from Norway, Poland, Cyprus and Lithuania so it’s going to be great and it will make for some really explosive fights.

“Our fighters have trained hard and they’re ready for these fights but these guys who are coming over mean business too so bring it on.”

Doors open at the Southend venue at 6.30pm tomorrow night and a small selection of tickets will still be available to purchase on the door.

But the final fight of the night sees Billy Gypsy Lee take on Brentwood’s Mitchell Head in his MMA debut.

And Burzotta cannot wait to see Lee in action.

“Billy will have huge support because he’s a big name in the travelling community and he’s sold a lot of tickets so the atmosphere will be great,” said Burzotta.

“He’s transformed himself since training with us and must have lost something like eight stone in five months.

“He was a bowling ball when he first came in but he’s unrecognisable from that now.

“He’s trained six days a week and can’t wait to get out there now.”
