ADAM Flanagan says Concord Rangers must start picking up more points at home as they hope to build on their fine recent run against Maidenhead United.
The Beach Boys have lost more home games than any other side in the National League South (six), despite sitting 12th in the standings ahead of the game at the Aspect Arena tonight.
The visitors are managed by former Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire and sit eighth in the league, having played three games fewer than Concord so far.
“Maidenhead will be another tough test for us,” said Concord boss Flanagan, after his team secured a third consecutive win against Whitehawk at the weekend. “Our home records needs to improve so we get an opportunity to do that.
“Alan Devonshire is a seasoned manager and he has added a couple of National Premier players to his squad so they will have a wealth of experience. Not having played a game at the weekend I expect them to be fresher than us but we go into the game with much more confidence than before.”
