SOUTHEND United have completed the loan signing of striker Tyrone Barnett from Shrewsbury Town.
The 30-year-old will be with Blues until the end of the season.
And he cannot wait to finally get on the end of the Shrimpers’ crosses.
“I played against Southend earlier on in the season, I remember they had quality and was thinking I would like to be on the end of those crosses,” said Barnett.

“Hopefully they will keep coming into the box now and I can get on the end of them.
“I want to get as many minutes and goals for the club and hopefully we can push for the play-offs too.”
Barnett expects to wear number 19 for Blues and will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to Swindon Town.
