Bishop’s Stortford 1-0 Concord Rangers
(Cundle 87’)

National League South
CONCORD Rangers missed out on the chance to climb away from the National League South relegation zone as they lost 1-0 at Bishop’s Stortford.
An 87th minute strike from former Billericay Town striker Greg Cundle was enough for Bishop’s Stortford to see off Adam Flanagan’s side.
It looked as though the Beach Boys would be returning to Thames Road with a valuable point, but goalkeeper Bailey Vose could only parry West Ham United loanee Sam Ford’s effort into the path of Cundle, who bundled home.
A win could have seen Concord climb four points and four places clear of the drop zone, but defeat to second bottom Bishop’s Stortford means Flanagan’s men remain just one point above the bottom three.
Concord Rangers: Vose, Girdlestone, Wyatt, Norman, King, Ekpiteta, Collins, White, Chiedozie, Cawley, Della Verde (Topley)
